Would you like to leave the hustle and bustle of the capital without spending hours travelling to get to the peaceful countryside? If so, check out our tips for luxurious oases of peace just a stone throw's away from Prague.

Dvůr Perlová Voda

The farm in the midst of endless greenery, only an hour away from Prague, will take your breath away. Not only if you decide to spend your wedding day here, but every time you'll return. Its vastness and the local kitchen with a microbrewery are simply amazing. Although we like to visit this place in any season, it's most beautiful in summer when the courtyard smells of wild flowers and the warm weather invites you to cool down in the natural biotope with a sand beach or in the saltwater pool. Athletes, pay attention! There's a multipurpose grass pitch and a cycling trail that starts right behind the farm. After a trip, let your tired feet rest in the hot tub or in the Finnish or infrared sauna, which you can also rent privately.

Statek Oblík

How about hanging around a pool with a glass of Prosecco, grilling some steak in a luxurious outdoor kitchen or enjoying some fresh homemade cheese on a picnic blanket with a view of the countryside? Just visit the Oblík Farm, only an hour away from Prague. If you feel adventurous, you can sleep outdoors in the summer and enjoy the amazing star show on a clear night. Two luxurious apartments and one room will make you stay even longer next time and the local service will convince you that this is the right place for a special event. Keep busy with plenty of trips to nature, bike touring (bikes available to rent) or Nordic walking. And bring your kids, they'll love feeding the local domestic animals.

Nový Rybník Guesthouse and Brewery

The Brdy woods on one side, an excellent brewery and a reconstructed historical fishing bastion below the pond dam on the other side. Come with your significant other, children, friends or come celebrate an important event; everyone will find something to their liking here. Go for a hike after a delicious breakfast, enjoy the wellness zone in the afternoon while your kids let their hair down at the playground with a trampoline. Talk about how great this place is while drinking a glass of cold, frothing local beer called Baštýř and enjoying some delicacies from the restaurant. Don't miss the tour of the brewery, including tasting. But don't overdo it with the beer or you could end up in the pond where the water is quite cold.

Yard Resort

Passionate golf players and gastronomic tourists, you'll be delighted! The grass is greener, the food tastier and the atmosphere incredibly calmer just half an hour away from busy Prague. The Yard Resort is exactly the place that will satisfy all your desires. Design and architecture will please the aesthetic eye; the 9-hole golf course and training areas will please golf enthusiasts; the popular Ke Tvrzi restaurant is perfect for foodies with discerning palates. If you yearn for absolute relaxation, book a wellness room with a private infrared sauna and a round hot tub right next to the bed. The short distance from Prague makes the Yard Resort an ideal venue for weddings and company events.

Boutique Hotel Corso

A stay at this hotel is nourishment for both the body and soul. Hop in the car or on the train and arrive in dreamy Řevnice half an hour later. Right in the centre, you'll find this historical building with rooms inspired by the history of the town and stories of local personalities, furnished with historical pieces with a modern twist. We were enthralled with the room design and you can rest assured that this place means business when it comes to luxury. Take a trip, leave all the worries behind and stay snuggled under the duvets. Enjoy great food and beer in the local brewery.

Panská Zahrada

Have you ever spent 30 minutes in a traffic jam in Prague, wanting to find yourselves in a carefree oasis of peace? Well, that's how much time it takes to get to Panská Zahrada, a charming hotel in Dobřichovice near the local chateau. They'll welcome you as a family as friendly atmosphere takes priority here. Same attention is paid to homemade gastronomy. Try their famous 'kulajda', soup made with mushrooms, dill and eggs, which we enjoyed a lot. The building next door houses the lavish Wellness Dobřichovice. Rent an electric bike by the hotel and take a trip to Karlštejn, only eight kilometres away.

Panství Dlouhá Lhota

Experience the true Czech countryside in a grand style. Less than an hour away from Prague, you'll find this local masterpiece, a fourteenth-century manor. You'll be captivated with its historical charm combined with luxurious elements and a highly addictive comfort. If you prefer modern design, you'll be more than satisfied in one of the elegant rooms in the former stable. Enjoy a culinary concert in the chateau restaurant where you can look forward to an unparalleled and rich explosion of flavours. Take a stroll through the chateau garden in the morning, relax at the Wellness & Spa in the afternoon, and enjoy a tasting event in a wine cellar in the evening. Not only that makes Panství Dlouhá Lhota a popular venue for weddings and celebrations.

Apartmány Salabka

Leave the car at home; you'll get here easily by the Prague taxi. The Salabka apartments are located in one of the most beautiful Prague districts – in Trója, famous for its vineyards, almost a rural serenity, the zoo and the nearby Stromovka Park or River Vltava. Wake up in the midst of greenery and forget that you're almost in the city centre. Salabka won't disappoint you with its beautiful apartments, house wine and the fine dining Michelin restaurant. Living at a vineyard in Prague is quite unique and you simply must give it a try!
