Our tips
Dining with a View of the Park
In summer, you can sit on the terrace of William’s restaurant and cool off with an ice cream, while in winter you can enjoy honest, homemade Czech cuisine with views across the park.
A Spring of Health
Just a few steps from the hotel, right in the park by Swan Lake, you will find Glauber I Spring, a mineral spring with the highest concentration of Glauber’s salt. You do not have to go far for a traditional spa ritual – a short walk is all it takes, perhaps between breakfast and a massage.
Facilities for Corporate Events
On the ground floor of the hotel, you will find a conference room for 45–60 people equipped with AV technology and Wi-Fi. You can choose from two conference packages, including refreshments, making the space well suited to business meetings, training sessions and smaller corporate events. The hotel is also wheelchair-accessible and has its own car park.
A Story That Survived Demolition
The hotel building was commissioned between 1916 and 1918 and named after William Harvey, the physician who first described the circulation of blood in the 17th century. The building later fell into disrepair for many years and was due to be demolished, until an extensive renovation in 2012, carried out in cooperation with Metrostav, saved it.
Something Extra?
You can add massages, spa treatments or half board to your stay and let the whole experience unfold exactly at your own pace.
