Our tips
Trips in the surrounding area
You can wander through the hills of the White Carpathians, have a picnic, cool off in the forest, or set out on one of the gentle walks nearby, visiting the museum of the last Žítková goddess along the way and finishing with pleasant refreshments at the U Kapličky cheese dairy or the barn at Hajtman’s.
Summer swimming
You can choose between a classic paid swimming pool complex or a natural swimming area only about 3 km away. About half an hour away by car, you will also find the Aquacentre or the spa town of Luhačovice, where several healing mineral springs are well worth a visit.
Ralph’s Pub Restaurant
If you do not feel like cooking, you can visit one of the local family-run restaurants and taste specialities from a variety of world cuisines.
Winter fun
Ski slopes can be found on both the Czech and Slovak sides of the border. The closest is the Bílé Karpaty Ski Centre, Lopata area, and other ski resorts such as Stupava, Osvětimany or Skipark Kálnica are only about 25 km away.
