Not every day can you spend the night in a former synagogue. In Rabí, a historic building has become an extraordinary place to stay, one that has kept its soul while gaining new life through modern design, sensitively woven into the old. The hills of the Pošumaví region and the Otava River frame this small town beneath the largest castle ruin in Bohemia. A place where history and the present naturally flow into one another.

Rabí is the ideal starting point for anyone who loves exploring actively. The Otava cycling trail runs right through here, following the river from Modrava through Sušice all the way to Horažďovice — enjoyed equally by experienced cyclists and families looking for a relaxed outing. And if you're drawn more to water than wheels, head to the Otava River, one of the most popular canoeing routes around. In nearby Sušice, you can rent a boat and set off on a pleasant one-day paddle.

Rabí Castle, the largest castle ruin in Bohemia, with over three kilometres of walls, will charm you with its history and beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.
