Our tips
Summer in the Jeseníky Mountains, active or slow
The area around Rejvíz is ideal for anyone who loves being active outdoors without crowded trails. Dozens of kilometres of cycling paths, mountain roads, and hiking trails wind through forests and the open landscape of Jeseníky. One day, you might head out for a full-day hike; the next, cycle slowly through the countryside and stop in a meadow with a view of the mountains.
A picturesque village
Thanks to its preserved wooden folk architecture, Rejvíz has been declared a village heritage zone, so it really is just a step away from a fairy tale.
Winter beauty
When snow blankets the Jeseníky Mountains, Rejvíz takes on an almost fairy-tale atmosphere. The surrounding landscape invites cross-country skiing, winter walks, and downhill skiing at nearby resorts, and returning to a cosy, heated apartment after a day outside is a wonderful moment in itself.
Beautiful and fragile nature
The Rejvíz National Nature Reserve is also known for its peat bog, formed by two lakes. It makes for a lovely trip, with a nature trail leading around the lakes along wooden boardwalks.
